Never heard of movie nor “Madchester” music scene – at least, not that I remember. Keep in mind, by ’78, I was a well-respected school teacher and no longer a child of the 60′s.

Give 24 Hour Party People a try, especially if you like the "Madchester" music scene. Happened after 1978, so maybe not. Joy Division, Happy Mondays, hello? Is this thing on?
