Mike the joy of taking the first deer of the season is just as good when you get the first piece of tenderloin or sausage out of the pan. The night I came back from the processor with our packages I never hesitated and went straight to the fridge for the scrambled eggs, the oven for the biscuits, then the table for the feast. Eating this deer was just as rewarding as the hunting, shooting, dragging, and cleaning were on that cool Friday morning in November.
