I assume (the antithesis of exactitude) that you realize that we are one day closer to the next hunt. Also, what is the status report on the pic of Russian lemon ticked short enough that one can smell red worms on his breath dog?

Kind Regards,

Since the hot-tub saga, we now include bubble bath in our essentials list and now all are entertained, whether inside or outside of the Jacuzzi.

Raimey:

If you look hard, you can see the dike in the background of the first picture. This is the open field just left of the parking area. The tree (one of six legitimate trees in the whole state of Kansas) is just behind and up the road a piece from where I took the first picture. There's a brush pile near there where the dogs like to chase rats and tangle their check cords in old farm implements. I'll post a photo of the more recognizable tree, and you'll know exactly where it is. You will also have seen roughly 33% of all the trees in Kansas.

The top pic looks to be the site of the "skunking" episode on the North side of the basin. The following pic looks to be at Van Meter's Doc's farm. I can't say with certainity that I purchased the 1st glass container of "wake up the flavor" liquid, but I did purhase one that week. For those who do not know: "wake-up the flavor" is a line from "Sanford & Son" when Fred returns from a trip and feels unwanted. He leaves all and heads to the bar. It all turns South from there, he returns home and thinks that Ester is a mule looking for oats in his pocket. Then next A.M., with a terrible "hang around," he mixes himself a medicinal cocktail and asks Lamont to help him over to the liquor cabinet to get the vodka to "wake-up the flavor." So, now you know.

Kind Regards,
